Why Wellness? Why not?

LifeStyle Living Today means living as well as we can be.  It’s about having a good quality of life.  I mean that is pretty much we are all striving for, right?  In countries like the Philippines there are the poor and the rich.  There are way too many people in the Philippines suffering from poverty and compared to the population, only a small percentage of people are wealthy and can actually afford to live well.  Either your rich or poor, we are all striving for a good quality of life, about Living Well!

In the United States, about 10% of the population earn $100,000 or more.  On top of that most people still live beyond their means.  That is why the United States is suffering the credit crunch.  Whether you are in the Philippines, the United States or some other country, our goals are to have a good quality of life.  To have wellness!  If we don’t choose wellness, we choose the opposite.  The opposite of wellness is doing nothing.

Wellness doing is exercising regularly, because we all need exercise.  You can drink all that SlimFast all you want, but you still got to exercise.  If you’re on OsoLean, you got to exercise too!  You just can’t get out of exercising.  That is essential.

Wellness doing is about eating right!  Not eating less.  Eating less sucks!  Just eat fewer calories.  This is typically the low glycemic diet.

Wellness doing is taking supplements.  Today, we all need supplements because it is a well-known fact that the nutrients that should be found in the food we’re eating are not there.  Supplements need to come from food.  Not synthesized or anything like that.   Mannatech, Inc. makes Real Food Technology Solutions.  Their supplements are all natural and the body sees it as food.

Wellness doing is drinking water.  I see so many times that a bottle of Coke is in place of a pitcher of water  at the family dinner table.  It’s sad.  Coke has so much sugar in it.  Water is water!  You have to drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water a day.  Eight glasses of water a day basically.

Wellness doing is earning adequate income to support yourself and your family.  In the Philippines and in America, some people don’t earn enough income from their jobs.  So supplementing your income with another part-time job is okay.  Building a part-time home based business like a network marketing business is better.  More income for you and your family and better ways to support your wellness.

So why wellness?  To Feel Great!  To Look Great!  To ultimately Live Well!  Take charge of your wellness and financial wellness.  That is Living Well. Cheers!

Michael Jordan on Failure and a TV commercial about it

Michael Jordan is best known for his career in the NBA and as a Nike Spokesperson. I found this Nike Commerical on Failure with Michael Jordan. Jordan is right. He’s the best Basketball Player of all time and I’m sure many of you would agree. He’s also a business man. He’s so cool! He is LifeStyle Living! He is successful! He’s smart! He’s humble.  And this is what he had to say about Failure.

We can all learn from this. Multiple books and many successful people said it as well. When asked how did they get so successful? They often say, by failing multiple times. Robert Kiyosaki’s Rich Dad said when Kiyosaki lost his first company, congratulations! most successful people lose three companies, you got two more to go. It seems you got to fail to succeed.

Or, in other words, the great inventor Thomas Edison said “Failed? — why we haven’t failed, we only know the thousands of ways that won’t work.” Persistence is key to our success. Many people give up inches away from success. In LifeStyle Living, success brings us happiness. Everyone’s goal in life is happiness! Come on? Is your goal in life to be miserable? I don’t think so! What is happiness? What is Success? Success is being happy, healthy, wealthy and wise;  all together, not one without the other. So never give up!  Keep on keeping on!  If you fail once:  it’s okay.  If you fail twice: it’s okay too.  If you fail 10,000:  Edison’s lightbulb?.. Every failure is a step closer to success! I’m personally taking this advice, I’m a pro at failure.  Cheers!

Having your own Office at Starbucks

I am all for Starbucks!  Starbucks truly delivers a good cup of coffee.  I just had myself a Doppio.

Doppio in espresso is a double shot, extracted using a double filter basket in the portafilter. This results in 60ml of drink, double the amount of a single shot espresso. More commonly called a standard double, it is a standard in judging the espresso quality in barista competitions. Doppio is Italian, meaning “double”.

Starbucks also delivers a great environment.  Now, not all Starbucks unfortunately have a nice cafe, but for most Starbucks, they truly make a nice cafe and deliver that nice comfortable environment.  International Starbucks like the ones in the Philippines are so much nicer!  They are much cooler than the ones in the United States in my opinion.

Regardless if you’re in the USA or elsewhere, Starbucks will provide you a great environment to chill out, hang out with friends, have a date, or have a meeting.  Yeah!  A work session meeting.  Now there have been many meetings done at Starbucks.  I would assume many Deals happened as well.  So if your office is at home, Starbucks will give you another office away from your home office and you’ll get a great Cappuccino.  That is of course the Barista know’s how to make one.  In some cases, I get a foamy Latte for a Cappuccino.   But anyhow, Starbucks will give you that office with a cup of coffee.

If you have a Home Based Business such as a Network Marketing Business, Starbucks is a great way to have meetings, presentations of the products, presentations of the payplan and have get-together with your Downline/Upline Leaders to create a Master Plan to grow your Home Based Business even bigger.

A Home Based Business is not restricted just at home, but there are many other places to have your office and Starbucks is a great place to have one.  I see it all the time.  I’m a networker and a former Barista.  When I was a Barista, I’ve seen lawyers, architects, and construction experts having their meetings and brainstorming sessions at the cafe.  It was so cool.

Kudos to Starbucks for providing great coffee in a really nice place for people to get some work done.  In college, 90% of all my homework was done at Starbucks.  Now, I am showing my work with Mannatech, meeting and brainstorming about Health, Wellness, Financial Freedom and helping as much people to get there as well.  Everything in life revolves around what Zig Ziglar said,

You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.

Starbucks is successful because they deliver what people want and you can be successful by helping people get what they want.  And what do people want?  Happiness! :D

Is Network Marketing Right For You?

The only person that can truly answer if Network Marketing is right for you is YOU!

Robert Kiyosaki, America’s expert in financial literacy strongly promotes Network Marketing for the average individual like me, to migrate from the E (Employee Quadrant) to a B (Big Business Quadrant).

Paul Zane Pilzer, an Economist and trend forecaster, forecast 10 Million Brand New Millionaires will be created in the USA alone from 2006-2016 in which many of them are Network Marketers (I’m working on being one of these people).

Donald Trump had stated if he had to do it again, he would have gone to network marketing.  Robert Kiyosaki agreed as well adding it makes sense.

The Single Mothers I have talked to who got their success from Network Marketing promotes MLM with their respected MLM Company.

The various successful people who I have talked to you who all got their success of course supports network marketing and strongly promotes everyone to start a network marketing business.  They genuinely promote it so that you too can have a lifestyle that they built for themselves.  It is true, it’s lonely at the top so why not bring your friends at the top with you.  That is the mentality of my upline who I work with.

Network Marketing is a way for people in general to keep their day job and build a B Quadrant Business to set them financially free.  That is of course if they do stay and build the business.

Building a business, Network Marketing, Mom and Pop’s shop or a Big Business like Google takes money, effort, ingenuity, risk, bravado and audacity.  In network marketing, it’s little to no risk because the respectable Multi-level marketing company will have guarantees (the best is a 100% 180days Satisfaction Guarantee on all the products purchased).  The Startup Cost of a Network Marketing Business starts as low as $100-$500.  So the startup cost is quite low and it is guaranteed.  But what doesn’t really cost anything, is your eagerness to develop yourself and your ability to take risk (which is low in this type of business),  you’ll need bravado because you will be marketing a company with products and services in which you should believe in (no use promoting a company with crap products and services), and you’ll need some audacity.  You’ll need audacity to build virtually anything.

For myself, I’ve only joined 1 Network Marketing Company in which I am passionate about, I learned the ropes, I also had to learn public speaking (my #1 fear like most people, next to death), I also learned not to be so shy and have some audacity.  I also learned how to blog, tweet, facebook, and make videos to promote myself and my business to prospective customers and/or business partners so they too can benefit of what I have to offer.  And you know what?  I’m so enjoying myself!

Network Marketing will only be right for you if you feel that it is right for you.  The question to ask yourself is how do I feel?  How do I want to feel?  How do I live and how do I want to live?  What if I can turn my  current annual income to become my monthly income (this holds so true to many success stories in Networking, most of them single mothers)?  And most of all, ask yourself what is my purpose?

Purpose is so important.  Having a purposeful life will bring you more success! It is true.  You have to believe in what you’re doing. My purpose is to promote happiness, health, wealth and wisdom I learn to everyone.  The information is at our fingertips and we all need a little nudge to open the book, open the pages, read the article, listen to the music, just hear and have openness.  My purpose is to help people as best as I can because it helps me feel fulfilled with my life and I know the Network Marketing company I am with is the Right One to fulfill my purpose!  (This is secular purpose folks, not spiritual purpose for all you religious readers. I too have my spiritual purpose and you can find another blog to help you with that, it’s the Bible)

So, ask yourself, is being in business right for me?  Is Network Marketing right for me?  Am I ready to make some changes in my life?  Remember, change always causes upset, but that is surely temporary.  Cheers Friends!

Having a purposeful life will give you more success

Naturally, we all look for purpose in our lives. In the USA alone, most people regardless of what they do for a living and how much they earn, the #1 thing people are looking for in the workplace is the feeling of purpose. It was said that people hate just sitting in the desk and filing papers all day. People are naturally looking for some type of purpose in their lives. Typically a noble cause. Something bigger than themselves.

I mean, there is spiritual purpose which is very important and there is secular purpose. I’m talking about Secular Purpose for all of you religious readers. Your spiritual purpose comes from another blog called The Bible. Go read that daily!

Anyhow, when looking for a Job and Business, look for something that is purposeful and meaningful. Something you can get passionate about. Because passion is the driving force in your personal success. Income will come regardless, just focus on what your purpose is and what you are passionate about and you will go far!

Success by Sharing, Translation: Success by Gossip

In Show Biz, they know, regardless of how much they spend on conventional advertising, the show or movie’s success lives or dies by word of mouth. If people like it, they will recommend it to their friends. If they don’t like it, they will recommend not watching. In some cases however, very rare, if the movie sucks, I know someone who’ll recommend you watching the movie just to confirm that it did indeed suck. His initials are S.N. Yeah, he’s a friend of mine.

So, Success by Sharing or Gossip! Regardless of what product or service you provide, our goal is to get our customers as happy and satisfied as possible so they will recommend what every product or service we sell to their friends and family or who ever they come to meet along the way. You call this your personal walking ambassadors (this is explained in the book The Go-Giver by Bob Burg and John David Mann which is a great read I might add).

Let’s face it, all of us are all sales people somehow. We all got something to sell right? What ever it is, i.e. homes, properties, products, advise, books, song lyrics, cloths, ideas, ect. That is what business is and businesses earn by providing good products and services to we the people (it’s People Power). We can find much success by personal recommendations from ourselves to our friends, and our friends recommendation to their friends (business friends, or just friends in general) Success just by Gossip…

I have been hearing form books and literature that it is essential to have Social Media being in business today from Blogs, Facebook, YouTube…  Getting out there means you are reaching your customers and  your potential customers.  Your customers are also  your business partners.  They will give you ideas about how you are doing and how to make things even better.  This idea came from the book “What Would Google Do?” LifeStyle Living Entrepreneurs!  You gotta watch this.

How To Make Your Vision Board

The whole goal of making a vision board is to have something physical to look at to remind you of the things you want most out of life: your goals. Not everyone is going to have the same things in their vision boards.  Not everyone want’s BMW’s…

Be careful of putting a bunch of expensive stuff.  Only put items in your vision board that you want most.  This is a common mistake that I have been guilty of myself.  I mean what you really really want most.  It could be words as well.  Not just pictures.  I printed out words. Better yet, write it down, bold and BIG.

If you can’t find a picture of what you want, then draw it.  Stick it on the board.  What ever it is.

Most people will find this activity silly, but it is so powerful.  Some of the most successful and brightest people do this.  Maybe that is why that so few people is as successful as some.

When you’re finished, post your Vision Board in a place where you’ll see it daily.  If you have an office, post it directly on the facing wall.  You’ll have no choice to but look at whenever you are sitting down.

Look at your Vision Board everyday.  Imagine that you have already achieve those goals.  When you’re done imagining, use it as a motivational tool for you.  You can’t just wish for something, you gotta make it happen.   Take action!  If you don’t know what to do, just wait, the way will be shown to you.  Just believe in the power of the law of attraction.  You will attract it so long as you want it.

Vision Boards helps you keep that wanting.  Then you’ll be determined to do what it takes to make your goals (your vision) into reality.  Enjoy!
